friendly name <[email protected]> issues?

Hello

I can log into RC without problems, send email to another user somewhere, then log out.  I then log back in as a different user and send an email.  The 'Friendly Name' stays the same as the one from the original one in the new email.  I checked 'identities' and the 'name' is different for either user.  ideas?
