Resolve user names and e-mail addresses

I have seen an option on the config file to resolve user name and email address. I am using vpopmail on the email server, and it has an utility to resolve user's name. I request an option to run a custom command to resolve user's name with username as an argumment. The result of this command would be de name in the identity.
