emails not deleting and sent mail not in sent folder

hello i am having a problem with a new install  

1 Emails will not delete from inbox. The delete at first but reappear after a while. And they never appear in the trash folder.

2. Sent emails do not appear in the sent items folder.

i installed roundcubemail-0.1-rc2.tar.gz

not sure where to fix this, any help is very much appreciated, thanks!
