Problem with search, different result`s ?!

Hi,

We have roundcube client that when trying to search emails from a friend "Marko" using the search options (in inbox folder) he gets different results:

If he search: "Mar" he gets this results:

When he search full name: "Marko" the results are fine:
http://prnt.sc/f3kwxx

How can we fix this in WHM or in Roundcube settings maybe ?

searches are performed by your imap server not roundcube so you should probably check there for options around automatic truncation in search terms.

Where exactly is that (are those settings) ? In WHM settings or in some file that we should access via SSH (on root-server) ?

I have no idea. Do you know what IMAP server you are running? For exmaple I use Dovecot and that lets me search for both partial and full words.

Yes, we run dovecot aswell, so where do you access those settings about searching ?

you should try asking in the dovecot community. for me with dovecot partial word search works but i'm not an expert in dovecot config
