Mailbox full

What do I have to do to be able to RECEIVE emails when my mailbox is full and I am advised that I have no disk space to use?

I have deleted all my emails in trash and in my inbox but I still am unable to received emails.  I can send them but not receive them.

Make sure you purge the trash folders. Most likely the are still on the server taking up space just marked as deleted.

Under the gear icon in the lower left hand corner select the compact option.
