Option to display email on startup?

When you start a Roundcube session, the preview pane is blank except for a Roundcube logo, and no email is selected in the Inbox.

Is there a configuration option whereby it will select and preview the email at the top of the inbox stack on startup instead?

There is no such option in standard Roundcube but my new placeholder plugin adds this option. Note: it requires Roundcube 1.4.
