Adding Notes/comments to individual messages

Is there any plugin for Roundcube that would allow me to add notes / comments to individual messages.
I have in mind something similar to  XNote  for Thunderbird or even better  Simple Gmail Notes  for Gmail.
If there is no such extension, is it maybe in the plan for the near future? When?
