Password change

Hi,
I am looking for a way to be able to change the password
For that, I saw this paramter : $config['plugins'] = array('xskin', 'password');

OK, now, i have the "password change" menu.. but it cannot save it.

CAn you please give me the basic configuration for changing password ? knowing that password are stored into the PAM system ( REHL ) and I planned to use an ASCII file in the future, in order to share it with Dovecot
