Port 143 Connection Error

Hi All,

I am in the final stages of installing Roundcube. Everything was going well until I went to test IMAP. It keeps displaying a connection timed out error. Any suggestions on from where to go from here?

I contacted HostGator (who hosts my website), and they said that port 143 was the correct port and they gave me all the correct usernames and passwords.

I'm ready to give up... :(

Have you tried to use using both localhost and mail.YOURDOMAIN.TLD?
