Hi,

We have roundcube installed on our web server - cPanel/WHM based on CentOS(done by earlier tech) - I would like to upgrade it to latest revision... however - I can't locate the existing install directory??... and none of the documentation mentions where the install might/should be...

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but could someone tell me where to locate my install on the server?

Cheers

If it's a system-wide installation, I would look in the /opt or /var/www/ directory.  What's the url look like when you go to log in?  If it's /3rd-party/roundcubemail (or something similar), then you can search for the 3rd-party folder of the cpanel installation.

You can do this but every time that cPanel updates it will overwrite/revert the files to it's version.

Hi,

cPanel? is roundcube included in cPAnel updates? are the cPanel 'bundled' versions not kept up to date?

Anyway, i found the following:

/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/roundcube

which contains only a php.ini file

/usr/local/cpanel/base/roundcubemail-0.1.1

which seems to include the full install

Also found /var/cpanel/roundcube

Which contains some directories:

/latest
/log
/temp

and files:

roundcube.backup.sql.1219800290
version

Basically, what do I need to do to clean up what I have and have an up to date working install for all users which i can perhaps customise some?

Thanks in advance
Tedgie

Hi,

Forgot to mention I use RVSKins only (rvblue)... I have unpacked and installed the new roundcube, however, how do I now integrate this with rvskins??

Also, can I remove:

/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/roundcube
/var/cpanel/roundcube

Directories now?
