Old email not showing?

Hello, I'm new here but i have been using round cube for a while.  I've used it for my business for about a year, so i can check my email everywhere.  Only recently I've started to look back and noticed that some of my vendors and clients email are gone past a certain point.  The dates are random... some go back to Feb, some back to December, some earlier.  For the record, all of the email are put into folders for organization.

My question is, does the software only read email that are newer than a certain age?  Does it just not read the contents of the email account whose dates are older?  Does it delete them?  I'm okay with this, but i can't find any details anywhere as to whether it does or not.

RoundCube reads all email on the IMAP server and doesn't/can't automatically delete anything. If your emails are diapering after a certain amount of time it would be the IMAP server that is doing it.
