Is there also a way to solve the issue using webmail and not the download-version of Roundcube? Thanks a lot!

RoundCube is only a webmail client it doesn't have a desktop version, so I'm assuming by "download-version" you mean your just a user and you have no access to the RoundCube files in which case you'd need to ask your mail provider to install the patch.
