Newest stable slows server down

I have been running roundcube for years, but I tried out the newest stable release and it runs very slowly and raises my server load much higher than usual.

What would be the cause of this and how can I work around it?

What imapd are using? Sounds like you could be running into this issue RoundCube Mailing Lists, sorting by message index has been added to the SVN trunk.

My caching is turned on.

I hate mailing lists, I get lost when trying to follow them.. but I didn't find the info on the fix in there either unless I got lost and missed it.

I use roundcube and I want to know how do you know or test server speed or performance

tekone: I think this is the changeset which introduced message index sorting Changeset 2983 for trunk/roundcubemail ? Roundcube Webmail probably best to test with the latest svn version if you can.

Where would I find the link for where to download that as a package?

I couldn't seem to find one and the RoundCube Nightly Builds is 2806

I've never dealt with SVN before..
