Draft mail not deleted when sent

When I compose a mail and save it as a draft, and then later on sent it, the draft message is not deleted from the draft folder.

Also as I'm composing a message and this is automaticaly saved as a draft every five minutes, then after 15 minutes I have 3 draft emails. It svaes the message every time as a new mesage in the draft folder, while it's more logical to overwrite the message.

It's been doing this behavior for me since Drafts were introduced...

Indeed it would be a good idea to solve this issue.
