This forum is a user to user forum, where RoundCube users try to help other RoundCube users. We have no magic fingers, if you want to authenticate on your mail server, RoundCube must know how. And there is no universal standard to do this. So you must first find out how this authentication process if configured for your mail server and modify the settings in the ./config/main.inc.php to match the settings in your mail server.

One big difference between Horde and RoundCube is, is that Horde does support POP3 and IMAP, where RoundCube only supports IMAP.

If you use an IMAP mail server and Horde uses a configuration file, try to send it and I'll try to figure it out. Only do not expect a quick response, because I'm away for my vacation.
