imap-uw, regular *NIX accounts and Folders option

hi,

i've just installed roundcube and im quite satisfied. There is just one
point which makes me, well, sort of pensive.

Im using imap-uw with regular *NIX accounts. Going to Personal Settings->
folders lists more or less *all* the files in my $HOME (and subdirectories)
which takes about a few minutes as there are lots of files.

As far as i can see i have one option in order to prevent this from
happening: set imap_root to /var/mail. This is not something i dont want to do
as it inhibits other users on the system from having more than one mailbox
(~/.INBOX*).

Is there some other way to solve this?
