viewing number or read emails

what i want to achieve:
- view number of emails read

normally, only unread email number's is shown on folder list. How do i get to show the number of both read and unread emails on all folders?

on the message list screen you can see the total number of messages in the bottom right corner, below the list. there is says "x to y of z messages". for all folders you can goto the folder management screen in the preferences section, that lists the total number of messages in each folder too.

Hi John, I really need to see at mailboxlist a counter of my messages read and unread.
e.g (INBOX 100/3) 100 total number of messages and 3 unread messages.
 It's possible? I've loking for a way in template files at default skin, but mailboxlist is a default tag from rc api.
