How do you make a signature in your e-mail?

I am trying to put letterhead in my e-mail - I would like to have a picture logo and my personal information in all of the e-mails I send.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?  I've looked around on the internet and in these forums but I don't see the answer to my question so I decided to go ahead and start a new thread.

You can make a signature in the identities section of the preferences but that will place it at the bottom of the email. My suggestion to add a letterhead to each email would be to make a simple plugin that would automatically add it to the top of each email.
