All of the sudden my older emails, which I keep in my in box to get to when I have time or am ready, are being automatically deleted.  This just started a few weeks ago.  I don't recall changing anything and I've looked all around in the settings, etc., and can't find any way to change it.  I don't want any email in my in box to be deleted unless I delete them.

Can someone tell me what I can/need to do, please?

That would be controlled by the mail server not RoundCube, contact your mail provider and ask them about it.

The automatic deletion applies only in your Junk and Deleted folder and there's no way to turn this off.
Not all mail servers are setup to automatic delete emails in the Junk and Trash folders, if you have access to the mail server you can change the settings.

Yes, email sites have provision to delete old emails from inbox. When one's inbox cross the normal limit then it start deleting old emails. This feature is quite good...
