no blank page settings tab loads first link

Is there a way to keep the identities tab from being a blank page on first click. Ideally we would want the identity tab to launch  /?_task=settings&_action=edit-identity&_iid=xxx  with xxx as the users default identity instead of  ?_task=settings&_action=identities and a blank page.

Just getting used to the code layout, sorry for the noobness...
