Strange Roundcube email about closing user accounts

Hey all,
Trying to figure if this is legit.  Came from [email protected] and here is what it said.

"We are closinrg all old versions and non-active users from (16/09/2022). Please confirm youer email address [email protected] to keep your account from being deactivated.

Confirm

Account will be  automatically deleted after (19/09/2022). You can change the frequency of these notifications within your mailbox portal.

Just did not want to hit confirm since I am an daily user.  Just thought it odd.

It is definitely a scam. The domain "roundcube.com" that email reportedly came from is in no way associated with the Roundcube project and isn't going to be own or used by you email provider either.

I received this email notice also.  They seem to know the approx date I started using the email account, and that I use Roundcube.  I also use Thunderbird to read and send on the email account.  The scam looks pretty official, so I wanted to document it.  The scam text I received says,

We are closing down all outdated versions of the webmail and you are on an old version as of Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Click the button below and sign in to get the latest version of the mailbox to avoid
being De-Activated on the current version.

UPGRADE NOW

and the link they want me to click goes to https://arogyapriya.com/wordpress/ilamer/com/
