Last I knew the larry skin https://github.com/roundcube/larry still works its just not shipped with Roundcube. I'm not aware of any third party skins that do that.

Thanks for the info SKaero, it's a pity that Larry was dropped then. The preview pane on a small screen hinders quick manual searching and sorting of new messages. The provider does reinstall Larry after updates, but only after several days and with prior view settings lost. That's a fair amount of work and disruption for users, so maybe using an alternative is necessary.
