Hi guys

I'm currently using cPanel 134.0.23 and Roundcube Webmail 1.6.15, and I can't find the option in Roundcube to change the mailbox view to widescreen mode. It only allows 3 columns. How can I enable the option to switch to desktop?

current view options:  https://prnt.sc/Wrwz2MzrQ2b2

I wish to achieve this mode of visualization https://prnt.sc/yeDJBbxkZmSi

The screenshot shows the larry skin which no longer comes installed with Roundcube by default so you wont find it in the cPanel install of Roundcube.

Hello

Can I please ask what we have to do to get Larry back? Or at least if someone could please provide an explanation about why it has been depreciated (not just "its a security issue")? Its really unfair to do this to users who rely on this skin for efficiency and productivity. The Elastic is for those who prefer aesthetic but it does not provide the functionality of Larry .

Im on shared hosting and until the latest update my service provider would reinstate Larry via cPanel. They are not willing to do this anymore. So every day I am waking up to frustration as I check my emails over a morning coffee, knowing its only going to get worse over time, when I really need to use the super effective functions that Larry provides (ie; more efficient UI for search results, ability to delete multiple emails safely and with confidence (we are locked into plans that have space limitations requiring regular time efficient and safe deletion of large amounts of data), seeing the sender/receiver email address/attachment in a single line, multiple results on one screen etc)

Please reinstate Larry or at least give us an explanation. Thank you.

Larry wasn't depreciated because of a security issue, it was depreciated because it takes effort to maintain multiple skins.

Thank you for your response.

Are you able to elaborate on this response please? I find it odd that I've used Larry for 10 years and there has been no substantial change that I can remember. What's the difficultly in maintaining it? Its merely an interface. And a popular one at that.

Its also very disappointing and makes zero sense to remove the most popular element of the product. I've read countless forums and public comments on this extremely unpopular decision and unfortunately due to the fact that some service providers were continuing to reinstate it through their hosting services and those service providers are progressively deciding not to do this any more, the people who this affects have basically no recourse to do anything about it because the downgrading has been sporadic over a period of time. Not to mention, those who are not on shared hosting can continue to use it no worries. Again this makes no sense and its really unfair because there is currently no other viable options.

Honestly, Larry is worth the fight because Elastic is utterly useless beyond compare.
