For me it looks like the IMAP server issue. Could you open this message with other client e.g. Thunderbird, save its complete source and attach here? Maybe there is something wrong with it's structure, so IMAP server returns wrong BODYSTRUCTURE response. Is this happening with all messages with attachments?
