IMAP Folder freeze

Hi Guys,
I set up the system alright without problems. It has a sexy GUI .
I do make heavy use of my IMAP folders. I do have over 30MB in some
If I try to access their contents the system freezes and I do have to log out.

Does anyone else encounter this ?

Is there a solution set out ?

Does your IMAP server support the server-side SORT feature? If not, you will have a hard time with huge folders, expecially on slower server hardware. I experienced that with Mercury (the worst of'em) and AgoSoft. Since I switched to hMailServer, no probs at all with RC and IMAP folders containing some 10,000+ emails.
