Can't reply non-ISO-8859-1 named senders
« on: March 04, 2007, 08:26:18 AM »
Hi, first of all thanks to everyone spent time to develop Roundcube.

I have a problem with the mail repliying.

I'm using Roundcube for a Turkish site and i have managed to send and receive mails.

Turkish is use ISO-8859-9 or 1254 as character set.

My surname Includes non-ISO-8859-1 character " Ü " .

When i send mail from gmail it my name is shown as "***** ÃœNAL" (you can see in images) (stars are for privacy)

No problem up to here.

I can normaly receive mail.

At mail reading page there is no problem too. The letter " Ü " is shown as " Ü "

But when i click to reply button " Ü " turns to " Ãœ "

When i try to send like as image with the letter with no change the mail does not sent .

but when i delete Name and Surname from receiver adress textbox the mail has sent.

****
The error message when the mail :
Code: [Select]
A message that you sent contained one or more recipient addresses that were
incorrectly constructed:

 =?UTF-8?Q?*****_=C3=83=C2=9Cnal_<*****unal@gmail.com>?=: malformed address:
?= may not follow =?UTF-8?Q?*****_=C3=83=C2=9Cnal_<*****unal@gmail.com>

This address has been ignored. There were no other addresses in your
message, and so no attempt at delivery was possible.
