Installation.
« on: May 28, 2007, 09:27:48 AM »
Hello there, i have just download RoundCube and have tryed to install it. I have read through the install log and also configured it with the WIKI page that was suggested.

The problem i get is that it cannot connect to the server. So i looked over again and every looks fine, the user, password, database.. everything is right. However its not connecting :S. Anyone got any suggestions to what could be up?

Help would be appreciated :)

What Connection Fails ? The connection to your Database or the connection to your Mailserver ?

Is this a CPanel server? If it is then your database name is in the format of username_databasename. And the username will be in the format of username_database name too I think. Check in CPanel to confirm these.

Hope that helps.
