Error message if mail body empty
« on: July 25, 2007, 06:28:20 AM »
Hi,

0.1-RC1.1 doesn't seem to send mail if the message body is empty. This is probably ok, but I think there should be some kind of error message telling about this. Now nothing just happens when one tries to send the mail.

Many people tend to leave the message body empty when they mail attachments, so if there is no error message, this usually results in the person clicking left button continuously and cursing that the bloody thing (=webmail/internet connection/computer/anything) is not working :)

Hi,
I tested this case. I only set a recipient, no subject, no text body. RC asked me for a subject and set a default (no subject). Next was a question like: "You are going to send an empty mail. Sure? 'OK' 'Cancel'". I think, this is fixed with the next stable release, because this behaviour is implemented in RC svn 639.
it\'s not a bug - it\'s a feature
