If I send or forward an attachment using Roundcubemail or download it using some other email program (thunderbird, horde), the attachments download and open fine. Using Roundcubemail release 0.3-stable, whenever I try to open a downloaded attachment, it says I need a converter. I've tried it on a windows xp machine running apache 2.2 and on a linux machine running same apache version and both give the same results. I've tried with https required and without, same results. The http response header was showing application/octet-stream no matter the file type. I modified the code to get the right type, same result. I played with the headers to get them to match response headers generated by other programs that work, no luck. It seems to be related to however the program is getting the message part (attachment) that is sent to the browser for download. Using Firefox 3+, tried IE7 and Safari, both Mac and PC versions for FF and Safari.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Was this problem ever resolved? I recently installed roundcubemail and everything is working fine except I can't open the attachments as per the other posts here. I tested with a simple Word2007 doc, one sentence, no formatting and it said I needed a converter to open it?
