Excessive Spam
« on: February 23, 2015, 09:01:18 AM »
I chose to use websitebox for our companies web site. We signed up for the roundcube email. Unfortunately my boss gets over 100 spam emails a day. We have physically moved them to the spam box. We have set up the spam filter in roundcube yet they still appear in his inbox.

I contacted roundcube and asked about the Imap server as I read on other threads on here that it is where to stop the spam from. I was told they use a POP3 server. I am not tech savvy but any help on how to stop all the spam would really be appreciated. My supervisor is getting very irate with all of this.

You should contact your email provider and have them help with the spam problem.

Filtering needs to be done on the mail server, if its not a feature your provider offers it maybe best to move providers.
