Three sent folders and three trash folders
« on: February 10, 2016, 09:11:00 PM »
Hi all,

I'm using Roundcube v1.1.3.

If I'm logged into my webmail, I'll see three sent folders and three trash folders.
In the attachment you will see three sent folders (marked).

Why do I have duplicated folders?
And how can I have one folder instead of three?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Pinotje from The Netherlands :P

Do you use other IMAP clients as well as Roundcube because its probably folders that have been automatically created by other clients. If so then the solution would be to configure all your clients to use the same set of folders.
Roundcube Plugins: Contextmenu, SpamAssassin Prefs, and more…

Hi John,

What do you mean by IMAP client?

Do you mean the email client (e.g. iOS email app, Microsoft Outlook, etc.?)
Or email server (e.g. Exim, etc.).

Is it posible to disable clients to add folders?

yep the client like ios mail or outlook.

for roundcube that behaviour can be disabled in the config with the `create_default_folders`setting (diabled by default). i do not know about other clients.
