INBOX rename and folders hierarchy
« on: July 22, 2023, 05:37:09 AM »
Hello !

I wish I could organize the folders better. Is it possible ?

Actually I have this (I put photo in attachment)

INBOX
-Brouillon
-Envoyés
-Indésirables
-Corbeille

They are all children of INBOX. Can I rename INBOX ? And is it mandatory to have INBOX as a parent? Because when I create a new folder even if I put "---" as parent when I save INBOX become the parent again.

Because as you can see in the attachment, with this organization the folders are not well displayed like the others mails app.

Thank you :) !!

This IMAP structure is RFC standard: INBOX - root folder, another folders placed under ROOT.

But each mail-client can show folders as you want ( https://serverfault.com/questions/307222/proper-imap-folder-structure ).

Settings example: https://www.1gb.ru/wiki/index.php?title=Иерархия_IMAP_папок

As I see RC config haven't similar settings, so you can do it with RC.
