Looks like this hasn't been resolved yet
In the setup with local network having users like bob@localdomain it is not possible to send an email to any local user.
Also applicable to the case when a target user's email is rewritten to @localdomain or @kids and it is an attempt to reply to this address.
To fix this once and for all we can do this:
- check if the domain is @localdomain or any other "whitelisted" host name a check will be successful
- potentially introduce the setting to make this configurable.
Any thoughts?
