Text formating problem
« on: December 18, 2008, 04:14:30 AM »
Hello,

We are a hosting company using cPanel and we chose Roundcube as the main webmail programm for our clients because its far better than the other 2 choices we had.
We got the following problem:
When we write a new message as soon as we finish and hit the "send" button, the text format of the message changes and of course it's been mailed with this strange format. I looks like a poem...........
Has anyone encountered similar problem?

Thanks a lot for your attention.

P.S. For the prefix you request, we could not find the exact version through cPanel so its random. Sorry for this.

This is exactly the same problem that I am getting. Original formating (e.g line spacing, line wrapping), is lost when email arrives in recieving inbox. Is there a setting that I can change or is this a known problem??? I am using cPanel via a hosting company. Is there something that I need to ask the hosting company to do to remedy this? My cPanel version is 11.24.4-STABLE.I'm totally at a dead end.  Thanks.

Do you have updated to v0.2.1? Could you give me a test account (PM'me)? Anything in the RoundCube logs? Problem occurs when composing HTML mails (TinyMCE) or when composing plain text mails?
Regards,
Rosali

I logged into dimmis RC installation and everything worked as it should.

I asked dimmis to send me a test mail which was considered to be wrapped wrongly.
The test mail was dislplayed fine on my side on both RoundCube and Outlook.

So it looks like a browser issue on dimmis side.

Rosali
