fresh install, blank page after login
« on: April 08, 2009, 10:32:49 AM »
Hi,

I have two Linux Gentoo servers hosted by OVH (version called "release 2") (french hosting company),

I have set up RC (0.2) on the first one month ago, it works,

I have set up RC (0.2.1) on the second one, this days,
and have, after login, a blank page without any error,

what can I do ?,
I don't know where to look ?,
does someones can give me ways/tracks for this issue ?,

first, I have setup the config files manualy,
and then, as well, copy those files from the first server
(MySQL database have same name, account and password on both servers, IMAP server is the same one, users are the same ones),
but, nothing better,

nota : RC installer show me fileinfo module was missing on the server, but, I think it should work without it, it's the case on the first server,

thank you for helping,
Nils.

Please cross-check php memory settings of server1 and server2. Could you also cross-check what your IMAP server logs when authentication for roadshows@... fails?
Regards,
Rosali

re,

I've found why nothing was one the main page (after login),
I've just change memory_limit to 512M (it was 8M) in /usr/local/lib/php5/php.ini,
as I did it on the first server (because I have a PHP soft that gave me this error, and with tries up to 512 it works)

so it works now !,

but, after this install issue,
I have a "main" issue on the first server (and I think as well on the second) :
when someone is set as BCC he has some code at the begining of the email that should not appear :

 =?UTF-8?Q?anger?=
MIME-Version: 1.0
Date: Tue, 07 Apr 2009 14:31:40 +0200

--=_07941d0ed064c10bb4174065b1cef762
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

I cannot say if this code comes from RC or somewhere else ?
do you have any idea,

(should I make a new thread for this issue ?)

thank you for helping,
Nils.
