Resource Utilization

I have received notification from my web hosting company that my version of RoundCube is using 20% CPU utilization on a shared server and as such they have disabled it. There are only 2 users of this mail application and the over utilization occurred at 12:30 am when neither of us was using it.
Does anyone know why RoundCube would be consuming so much resources?
And is there anything I can do to fix it?

What IMAP server? Don't use Courier. If Courier, you can try svn-trunk version of Roundcube, there was a fix for bad login hanndling, which could help.
