redirection to email after logging in
« on: August 20, 2009, 02:37:11 PM »
Hello,
I found a nifty little tool named mail2rss and now use it for keeping track of my emails while I don't have my email program open, but my feed reader. It works fine so far, but every time a new email arrives and I click on the item to open it, I have to login with Roundcube - which is ok. But afterwards, I am not redirected to the URL that I initially clicked on (e.g. https://example.com/?_task=mail&_action=show&_mbox=INBOX&_uid=17937) but I see at the list of all mails.

My proposal is that when redirecting a request to the login page, Roundcube has to remember what URL the user initially typed in. After successful login, the user should see that page instead of the default view.

What's your opinion? Ever had that problem too?

Mathis

Hi, this feature was added in the 0.3 version of RC. Please try 0.3rc1 or the latest SVN.
