Was initially experiencing an issue where I couldn't attach many different file types to my emails in RC... after adding the mime-types to the mimetypes.php, I seem to be able to attach them now.
However, they are not arriving in outlook 2003 properly some are renamed and then I get jumbled up text in the body of the email others are just not showing up at all (these are getting returned as undeliverable with the jumbled text in the body). Any ideas? I googled and found some articles from 18 months ago on the issue but I am sure things have changed. If I send from same acct (not from RC) in thunderbird they arrive properly.
Does this have something to do with an Apache setting or possibly a setting in one of the Roundcube php files I may have missed?

EDIT: changed this setting to MS Outlook **Seems to be working now.**
Found in --> Settings / Composing messages / Advanced Options / Attachment names
