Help configuring plugins
« on: September 16, 2009, 02:02:37 PM »
I feel like an idiot, but i cannot figure out for the life of me how to get these plugins working...
I am trying to activate all the plugins for hMailServer

I have added them in to the main.inc.php file

// List of active plugins (in plugins/ directory)
$rcmail_config['plugins'] = array('hmail_forwarding','hmail_signature');

I have gone into each individual plugin folder and configured the config.inc.php.dist and saved it to config.inc.php

However after doing all this, i still do not see the plugins through the website..  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

These plugins depend on my 'settings' plugin. Please install and enable it (see top plugin php file 'requirements').

Rosali

figures something stupid i missed... I still couldn't get them to work, annoying mdb2 errors, until i realized these plugins were devloped for hmailserver 5.1.  Any idea if these will ever be updated to support 5.3?

Thanks for your response, i appreciate it.

Any idea why I'm having the following problems?

The signature option says "mdb2 error: not found" when i click save.
The away message save button is greyed out.
When i enter an email address for message forwarding, it returns the error message, "invalid email address".

IIS 6
hMailServer 5.3
PHP 5.2.10

Give me ftp access to roundcube and a test account. PM'me details. Probably I also need database access (phpmyadmin).

Please install new plugin collection from myroundcube - Project Hosting on Google Code

The hmail_signature issue should be already solved.

Rosali

This offloads all of the virus scanning to our SA cluster, which yields us ... I want to use this really fancy RoundCube Plugin for RoundCube ... How do you let users activate the rule, and set their filtering ...

I tried the new plugins and now the "Away message" function now works correctly.

The other two still do not:

Message Forwarding - Invalid Email Address

Signature - MDB2 Error - Not Found

If i remove the check mark from "Enable server-side Signature:" it saves successfully, but does not add the signature to any email messages.

"settings plugin" is part of myroundcube plugins collection (see footer). Installing instructions are placed at the top of 'p l u g i n n a m e.php'.

Hi there,

Is there anyway of using hmail signature without hmail_server.

I've tested but then I don't have the fields created.

Is there anyone that have the create table for this plugin ?

Thanks

hmail_* plugins are for hmailserver only. Sometimes it is hard to stay polite. So, nothing more to say.

Rosali
