Cannot delete Phantom subfolder
« on: October 22, 2009, 12:58:25 PM »
I have a situation here with what appears to be a ghost folder.  It shows up as a subfolder of the Inbox, but while Roundcube shows it, it doesn't seem to know it's there.  It's not listed in the folder list for example, and you can't move an email into it.

System is Debian Etch, running Exim v4.63-17 and Roundcube v0.2.2-1
The folder name was originally created as a regular folder, but the user somehow managed to create this subfolder - I don't know how yet.  The regular folder works fine.

I can't seem to find the ghost folder in the maildir directory anywhere, so it's not just a case of removing the directory.

Any ideas ?

have a look for the subscriptions file in the maildir and make sure the folder is gone from that as well as physically gone.
Roundcube Plugins: Contextmenu, SpamAssassin Prefs, and moreā€¦

JohnDoh -

Bingo, that was in.  There was an entry there for INBOX.Phineus.  Chopped that out, and it's gone.

Thanks -
