[Plugin] GlobalAddressBook - feature request
« on: March 22, 2011, 10:43:23 AM »
Hello,

we're using the global address book plugin from (Roundcube Plugins & Patches) and would like to ask if we could introduce a new feature?

In fact, we would like to restrict the use of the plugin to certain number of users, not all users.

Obviously the default behavior of the plugin should remain the same (every has access to the addressbook) but using the config file, it will be possible to restrict the access to a given list of users ("opt-in") or disallow the access to a given list of users ("opt-out").

--> to the developer of the plugin ... are you interested in this feature? Would you integrate it into your code?

Many thanks in advance

Alex

I have already implement this feature in an older version of the plugin (I'm not the plugin developer) it could be ported to a newer version pretty easily. If you want you can contact me and we could work something out. scott [at] skaero.com

Hi Skaero,

I'm contacting the author to see if he's willing to include the changes in the plugin. I'll keep you updated and contact you directly.

Cheers,

Alex
