403 Forbidden error when trying to install version 0.8.0

I recently downloaded Roundcube version 0.8.0. I decompressed the file contents and uploaded them onto my server and changed the permissions of the 2 folders listed in the install file.

But when I tried to access the installer, I get a 403 Forbidden error saying that I do not have permission to access the installer folder on the server.

I went back to the 2 folders that I changed the permissions to and changed the permissions of the .htaccess files inside both to '777' also but to no avail.

Am I doing something wrong here? Please help!

Make sure the installer directory has 755 permissions.
