Calendar plugin compatibility with iCalendar meeting invites?

Has anyone tried or played with this plugin enough to figure out if it can process iCalendar *.ics files? We have almost completely migrated over from Thunderbird to Roundcube and are now realizing we don't really have a calendar/planner alternative implemented.

Has anyone had this issue? Or can anyone advice me on a different route to take?
