0.8.4 Can't Input to Text Entry Boxes in Settings /Preferences

All fields where a text entry can be made are greyed out and no text can be input.  This means that I am unable to create folders, add / edit identities etc.  It's possible to use the html signature feature but any input is not saved. Interestingly, I have added the goldfish autoresponder module and entries are possible to make and save with this.

I've tried several different browsers - same results.

Any suggestions gratefully received

[Update - I removed the autoresponder and it's now OK - I'll try and see where the issue is with that little one!]
