Unread counter for trash

Hi,
I have noticed the following. When there are unread messages on trash, and I right-click the folder to empty it, the unread counter still remains active after deletion.

This behaviour occurs only when the focus is in another folder (eg. inbox). In other words, if I first click on 'Trash' to show its contents and then empty it, the counter disappears as expected.
