Installation fails to set up SQLite

I use FreeBSD 9.1 with SQLite 3.8.0.2. The last page on the installer site gives me a button to initialize the database, when I press it it says "OK".

But it does not work.

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Why?
