Always ask for delivery confirmation not working in roundcube

Hi...

I use roundcube in the cpanel. By accessing settings -> Compose messages, this enabled "Always ask for delivery confirmation" and "Always request read receipt" so that when you send a message, only the read receipt is posted. Not received confirmation of message delivery.

Anyone have any idea?

I am sure some one will correct me if I am wrong but I think that not all SMTP servers support delivery confirmation. You need to check if yours does.

Just to avoid any confusion, none of the things you mention above are SMTP servers. SMTP server will be something like Exim or Postfix.
