Help Please with cc field

Hi. Hoping someone will be able to help with this one asap.

When composing a new email and selecting addresses from my contacts list to be entered into the cc field they automatically go into the "To" field.
Is there any way to fix this??

Single click on the contact you want to add to the field just to highlight that contact. then look below the contacts list and you should see a Cc+ button. click on that and the contact should be in the cc field.
