Cannot return to search results... (RC1 & beta2)

After using the search bar and getting results back, having viewed a message, I expect to be able to go back to my search results somehow, but the back button takes me back to the inbox view...

Is it possible to add a "Back to search results..." button when viewing a message as the result of a search?
