Unable to login

I myself was using roundcube on my new webspace (with cpanel).
I setup the email account.
I properly installed roundcube and tried logging in with the correct details.
But I keep getting "Login failed!".
Is this a known issue? If not, please let me know what I must do regarding the same.

No errors... the script is properly installed I'm sure... just that "Login Failed!" thats the error
P.s. I'm using SSL ports if that should make a difference ?

I setup the script as per these instructions - http://trac.roundcube.net/trac.cgi/wiki/Howto_Install
And I setup my email account in cpanel which opens with the webmail programs in cpanel, but NOT with RC.
Any ideas please, anyone ?

I am also having the same problem. I installed Roundcube using this tutorial.

I also cannot log in. I keep getting a "log in failed" error.

I am using one of the users on my server, but I can't log in.

Any ideas?

Is it possible to login via unencyrpted ports? Can you use other IMAP clients (not the one cpanel launches)?

I have been trying to install run Roundcube for the last 3 days without any succes. I am on Vista, with XAMMP and Mecury mail. I have tried everything, i dont get errors. I just get a "Ligin failed " message.

I am starting to feel really dumb and itskinda hurting myself esteem rite now. please help before i start plucking my hair off.

Hi,

Install xampp.
Make sure to not install mysql as a service when install xampp.
Instead of using mysql that comes with xampp, download the full package of mysql from http://www.mysql.com/
Now you can use command to create the roundcube database.
Also remember to check that Mercury is running when you try to log in. (XAMPP Control Panel)

I have a similar issue. On the webpage when loging in the only error i get is the "cannot log in" error. In my error logs i get
